We just signed a contract for the installation of a 26kW solar power system. This system will offset __ tons/year of CO2 emissions. I will write more about it later. As this project gets underway, we will post photos and descriptions of the whole thing.
We have just found out that our Isuzu truck, which we offer to new tenants for move-in, can be powered with biodiesel! With a source for biodiesel just down the street, we will begin filling the truck with the stuff as soon as we determine that the quality of the fuel meets the requirement for our engine.
People who have visited Bridge Storage recently may have seen that we are underway with several construction projects. We are remodeling the entire front office building to add an additional resident manager apartment, as well as changing the front office to include sales of packaging and shipping supplies, free WiFi access and a couple of computer terminals, and an Art Gallery, showcasing local artistic talent.
With all the changes underway, we are planning a gala grand opening event for later in the spring.
We are exploring the possibility of opening a local facility for covered storage of RVs and boats. I will write more about this as we get the details firmed up.
