The Bridge Storage Swap Meet happens a few times a year from 8am to 3pm at 23 Maine Avenue, Richmond, CA 94801. There will also be open art studios at the adjacent Bridge Art Space throughout the day (times vary depending upon artists’ moods . Admission and parking are free. Wheelchair accessible. There will be a variety of old and new merchandise, including vintage clothing (just in time for Halloween) records, antiques, collectibles and more. Bridge Storage & Art Space is off Hwy. 580 & Harbour, not far from Historic Point Richmond. Come by the swap then head out there for the Homefront Festival!) There is still some vendor space available, as well, starting at $15 for a 10×10 spot. FREE for customers of Bridge Storage and Bridge Art Space tenants. Pro Arts Open Studios 2011

Slimm Buick, Tracy Fetter, Ralph Stein, Brian Elder and several others opened their studios earlier this month as part of the Pro Arts east bay open studio tour. Although the turn-out was somewhat small, a number of eager art lovers got for a look inside the works of local artists in Richmond, CA. Literary Event Friday – Richmond, CA

Join us for Salon & Supper, an event hosted by the Bicycle Art Salon, on Friday June 17^that 6pm in the Artists Lounge at Bridge Art Space (located at 23 Maine Ave, Richmond, CA 94804 where South First Street ends near 580).
The evening begins with gourmet grub prepared by Slimm Buick, before Andrew Ritchie, Author of Major Taylor: The Fastest Bicycle Rider in the World , takes the floor to give a Power Point presentation and lecture on his book. In addition to the book discussion, there will be copies of the biography on sale, along with art and music studio tours upon request. This unique, intimate gathering should allow for each one to be signed by the author himself and space is limited.
The dinner begins at 6pm ($10 suggested donation) and the book signing at 7pm (free). Reserve your space prior to June 12t by calling 510-237-0772, email to bicycleartsalon@gmail.com

The Bridge Art Space (23 Maine Ave, Richmond, CA 94804) will be part of the East Bay Pro Arts open studio tour, finishing up this weekend. Participating artists at Bridge Storage & Art Space include Slimm Buick of the Bicycle Art Salon, Tracy Fetter, and others. Many artists will be working in the studios and available to answer questions and sign artwork. Out of the Studio: Tattoos and More

The Bridge Art Space will be host to “Out of the Studio: Tattoos and More”, this Saturday, May 28, 8pm, in their event space and gallery at 23 Maine Avenue, Richmond, CA. The show was the brainchild of Sydney Metrick of Artful Coaching, ElSobrante, and is curated by David Rogerson of Ace Tattoo, El Cerrito, CA. There will be a bonfire, beverages and vinyl recordings of vintage Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Surf and more spun by DJ Slimm Buick. Art by John (Lupo) Avanti, Painter and Natasha Robinson, Painter, will also be on display that evening, along with a bonfire, beverages and more.

Bridge Art Space & Music Studios are adjacent to Bridge Self Storage, and home to the Bridge Storage Swap Meet, the third Saturday, each month from 9am to 3pm. They are located at 23 Maine Avenue, Richmond, CA 94804, where South First Street ends near Hwy. 580, just two short miles from Historic Point Richmond.
