Easy 580 Freeway Access for Drive-Up and Climate-Controlled Storage Spaces. Come visit us today!

Come for a wide variety of storage units at the best prices in the Bay Area.   And when you’re done organizing in your space you can relax and browse our gardens, art studios and public art galleries.  Storing here is not at all like the sterile warehouse experience you find elsewhere. We even have a laundromat! Not a bad idea, eh?  We’re just minutes from San Rafael and Berkeley, about a mile from the San Rafael Bridge.Richmond-San_Rafeal_Bridge

Easy freeway access makes storing or working
here a breeze.

Family Owned and Operated

“Bridge Storage and Art Space is unique and perhaps the only place of its kind.  Jim Wright, my dad, built the place from recycled materials and I am finding more ways to serve the needs of our community.  We own only this one facility and we’ve converted a number of the storage units into working artist studios and music rehearsal spaces and we are offering a variety of community events in our galleries.  Check back here often for the latest postings on our events page and calendar.” Jeff Wright, co-owner

Art Studio Space

Besides offering the cheapest and greenest California Storage units, we are happy to announce Bridge ArtSpace.  We are picking the best storage units and converting them to Artist Studios and Music Rehearsal Studios.  Skylights, insulation, power and water make these ideal spaces for expressing your creative side without bugging your family or your neighbors.  And get your kitchen table back as well!

What's New

In this meetup Linda Drake, president of the Arts of Point Richmond, and Pam DeWitt owner of the Point Richmond Art Collective will talk about the benefits and challenges of working in a collective. If you’ve been part of a collective or have think a collective might be a good choice for you bring you experience, ideas and questions.

ProArts Open Studios Tour
We currently have a number of artists who will be showing their work at Bridge Artspace for the June ProArts open studios tour. This is a great opportunity for other artist who have studio space at Bridge ArtSpace to also show their work. What? You’re not making art at Bridge yet? Not to worry–you can still get in on the opportunity. Only $20 for a space at Bridge during the tour. And we will be on the ProArts map!

The Art of the Business of Art Expo
May 29th is the day for our first expo for business with products and services that support artists and more importantly for artists. This will be a great opportunity for artists to learn about bookkeeping, contracts, how to get CDs produced and packages, getting a great video made and so much more. Vendors will be giving short talks throughout the day.

And There’s More
We’re always scheduling new workshops, we have business coaching for artists, we’re redoing the studio spaces with skylights and french doors, our artist lounge has been remodeled, and we’re getting a fabulous new sign for our tower with our beautiful new logo designed by resident artist, Steve Hurst.

Check us out. Bring your ideas.
